New Album 'Tennessee Wildfires' — Behind the Scenes
TnEarl takes us inside the recording sessions for Tennessee Wildfires — the late nights, the breakthroughs, and the songs that almost didn't make the cut.
Recording Tennessee Wildfires was unlike anything I'd done before. We went into the studio with eleven songs and a mission — capture the raw fire of the Appalachian spirit without losing the polish that Nashville demands.
The title track came first. I wrote it on a Tuesday night after watching the news about the wildfires sweeping through East Tennessee. It hit different. That song set the tone for everything that followed.
Songs like 'Breanna' and 'This Ember' were deeply personal — the kind of songs you write at 2am when the rest of the world is asleep. 'Oh-Hi-Oh' was the wild card, a road-trip anthem that almost got cut three times before we decided it was exactly what the album needed.
We finished tracking in late July and I couldn't be prouder of what the Corduroy Music Group team put together. This album is for every blue-collar soul who's ever felt the heat of the fire and kept going anyway.
